Justin get to go to Kindergarten

Justin and his dad had a meeting with his Pre-K teacher to talk about him going to Kindergarten next year. He is progressing like he should be, thank goodness and will be moving on to Kindergarten. Dad couldn't tell if Justin was to thrilled about this because he just loves his teachers. On they way home Justin did tell his dad that he couldn't go to Kindergarten because he was not tall enough:) He is not big enough to go to Kindergarten. He is too funny! I think he will be fine once he finds out that he will always ride the bus with his big brother and sister.

Hobbie has teeth!

Hobbie got braces February of 2008. He was not thrilled about it at all, but they seemed to think he needed them.

Last week he got them off. He was very thrilled about it. He had to have some baby teeth pulled to get everything in alignment. To keep everything in place so the permanent teeth can come in hopefully straight he had to get a retainer. He started gagging on the retainer at the orthodontist so they cut a section out of the retainer. Then when we get home and he would be fine until he would start talking and then it would gag him again. Since we were already home dad thought he would Tim Allen the retainer. You know, Tim Allen, Home Improvement comedy show, always having to make things better or faster. That my friends, is my husband. Anyway, he start filling away at the retainer and viola! it works. I still have a hard time getting used to looking at him without looking at metal and colored rubber bands. He actually has teeth! Such a cute kid.

Bon' A petit

Erin loves to cook! She mostly helps cook at her Memaws house. Memaw is a wonderful cook. Myself, not so much. Last week she made noodles and meatballs.

She had to show off her meatballs that she smashed together herself. She loved squishing her fingers in the meat.

Very carefully stirring the sauce.

Her Aunt Beth has bought her numerous kid cook books and this one is the one she got for Christmas this year. The apron came from her Uncle Jeff and his family.

The finished product. It was very yummy. Bon' A petit!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. First of all I want to say is that my pictures are a little out of order. I skipped some pictures while I was uploading and I can not figure out how to get them in order. Oh well, it will be all right.

On New Years Eve we had Christmas at our friends house Mark and Beth. We exchanged gifts and then celebrated the coming New Year. All the kids made it except for my oldest son. My kids had spent the night at my in-laws house with all of their out of town cousins and were up all night playing the wii. Needless to say Hobbie, who is nine did not make it till midnight. Uncle Jeff got him some legos for Christmas, he layed right down on the boxes and fell asleep. Aunt Beth got a picture of him, but unfortunately it was one that I had trouble loading. It was pretty durn cute! The picture above is of my husband and my friend Beth.

Jeff and Theresa, are getting married on April 4th, 2009. It will be very exciting.

Justin is my five year old and just loves Beth and Marks dogs. Sarah Belle is the one he is holding and Pandy is the one lurking over the couch at them wondering what they are doing. Such nosey puppy's.

Sarah Belle in her Christmas Sweater.

This is Mark and Beth. They are getting married December 12th, 2009. They both have been waiting a long time for this one. We are all so happy and excited for them! We can't wait for the big day!

My mom and dad are retired and vacation in Florida. They were not supposed to come home for Christmas, but surprised us all by coming home anyway. We had Christmas dinner at my house and this is all of the grand kids. They have so much fun together.

Another picture of my family on Thanksgiving.

Christmas picture of my kids. Hobbie is 9, Justin is 5 and Erin is 8.

We try to get all of the funny pictures out of the way before we start getting serious about the good ones. my husband was trying to get them to the See, Hear and Speak No Evil. Justin wanted to do the Speak and Erin wanted to do the Hear. It is just a little mixed up.

Erin and Justin in their Christmas hats.

This is Erin after daddy straightened it with a flat iron. She has a little curl and it can be a little unruly at times. Dad did not like it one day and went down to get my flat iron and straightened it. I think he did a pretty good job.

Justin with his ornament he made at his Pre-K Christmas party. Such a cute kid.

For Erin's Christmas party each family brought it items and they made care packages for the soldiers. It was very neat. They enjoyed it a lot. My husband went the the kids parties because I had to work. Of course I forgot to get some items for the care packages. The morning of the party he went out to get stuff for Erin's class. Let me first say, my brother-in-law is a Lieutenant Coronal in the Marines and has already been to Irag two times and is getting ready to go over again this spring. My husband decided to bring in a bunch of packages of those flushable wipes. The other moms look at him like he is crazy for sending these. He decided that they have never had to go to the bathroom in a sand storm.

My son Hobbie at his Christmas party. Would rather not ever get his picture taken if it was up to him, so I usually get goofy ones. Oh well you sometimes have to pick your fights and you get what you can get.

My mom, dad, Hobbie and I posing for a Christmas picture that my daughter took. I think it turned out pretty good. An aspirring photographer.

My kids get to open up one gift on Christmas Eve and it is always their Christmas jammies. I just love The Childrens Place. Everything you get is cordinatted for boys and girls.

We had some of the Chestney family come up from Florida for Christmas. This is Emma and Jenna.

Justin with cousin baby Gracie.

OOOOOps! Duplicate. I tried deleting it, but could not figure it out. Their so cute, why not look at them twice.

Cousin Alex and Brandon from Florida.

Cousin Tucker from Florida with Erin.

We are back to Mark and Beths house. I told you I was a little mixed up. This is Macenzie 9, and Allison 8. They are Jeffs daughters and my god-daughters.

Aunt Beff (as Justin calls her) and Pandy. I gave Pandy and Sarah Belle pin shirts with the pink breast cancer ribbon on the back. They looked so cute. Very difficult to get a picture of them both together to show off their t-shirts.
